Catie Clark
Weightlifting Coach
Catie’s passion for weightlifting stemmed from her athletic involvement in an array of team sports as a young child. In 2009, she attended school and played soccer for Ole Miss where she became involved in strength and conditioning. She then gained insight about weightlifting and its direct impact on performance enhancement.
Catie graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in exercise science from the University of Mississippi. During her final semester at Ole Miss, Catie completed her practicum at a CrossFit gym where her fascination for weightlifting really took off.
Shortly after receiving her degree, Catie participated in training the men and women’s golf, basketball and volleyball teams through the strength and conditioning program at Ole Miss. Here, she learned and applied her talent for training athletes. Catie acquired experience while working with clients as a personal trainer at local gyms and continues to train clients in a variety of settings today. Catie is motivated by the results she witnesses from each individual client she trains.
After joining the Fortius team, Catie’s passion and knowledge for weightlifting continues to grow. Her individual athletic goals are to improve as a weightlifter and to compete. Sign up for personal training today!
