    Steviann Fulton

    CrossFit and Weightlifting Coach

Steviann has been an athlete all her life. The youngest of three, two older brothers (and her name is Steve) she was destined to be a tom boy. She played baseball most her childhood and a little basketball. Then her interest shifted toward swimming. She swam on a club swim team and on her high school team where she won a Nevada state award. After high school she tried lacrosse, rugby, soccer, and many exercise classes but nothing was standing out to her. Then a friend introduced her to CrossFit and she was hooked.

In May 2014 she took her Level 1 CrossFit certification course and started an internship at North Bay CrossFit in San Francisco (where she ended up coaching for almost a year). While in San Francisco she worked with Freddie Myles, a top level weightlifting coach and former training partner of Coach Jesse, to further her understanding and training in weightlifting. She also worked with Jon Anderson doing Strong Man training. In January 2015 she took her Level 2 CrossFit certification course and moved to San Diego. After Freddie Myles recommended CrossFit Fortius she knew that was where she would go. Training under such high level weightlifting coaches motivated her to take the USA Weightlifting course.
