Glad I found CrossFit and discovered blending fitness instead of keeping cardio and strength separate was not the way to go. In hindsight playing Rugby with CrossFit would have been way better.
Growing up as a skinny running kid, I didn’t think I could find the strength and power CrossFit gave me. Despite not being as fast as I was at 20, I feel my overall fitness is better today than back then.
I love coaching and interacting with people because everyone has their own motivations and goals for coming to CrossFit, and we can all still work out together in the communal experience while achieving those individual goals. If I can be a beneficial addition to their experience then it’s a rewarding experience for me.
